Folklorist Derek Piotr (Death is Not the End, Gourd) brings the shrillest reeds, dulcet-est tones from Cambodia to Uganda in a borderless braid.

Over the past few years, Derek has been making, collecting, and archiving hundreds of audio recordings focusing on the “non-singer” – that is, someone with no background in musical performance who can nevertheless relate a song or folkloric memory.
